After a series of solo CDs under the wings of NextSteps Projects, jazz pianist Bart Flos released his first triple CD album ‘Roots & Reflections‘ in 2019 (‘Stage 6’), performed both solo and with a jazz trio. This time however, Flos is going ‘solo only’, again releasing three CDs under ‘Stage 7’. This new album is called ‘Clarity of Vision’, in three parts: Sense of Purpose, Sense of Direction and Sense of Urgency.

The music project ‘Clarity of Vision’ includes a total of 45 compositions and arrangements of both well-known jazz standards and Flos’ original work. The first 24 compositions are recorded in the Volver Studio in Tilburg and appear on CD album and streaming platforms. During one of the studio days, video recordings were made of 6 of the 24 compositions and a short documentary was compiled, all of which can be viewed on YouTube soon.

The remaining 21 compositions were recorded as video clips in the home studio in Helmond under the name ‘The Leftovers’, and can be viewed on YouTube under ‘NextSteps Projects 2026’.
